The simple comfort of a soft bed can go a long way in helping a patient rest and recover while staying at the hospital. At Mother Kevin Health Centre in Mbulamuti, Uganda, more patients now have the opportunity to receive care from a medical bed.

As part of our “Small Mission Projects” the Comboni Missionaries provided Sr. Immaculate Ais the funds to purchase 62 new patient beds for the health centre. She said the beds are being used across four wards – maternity, children, male and female.

“I thank you very much as now patients have decent beds in the spacious wards. Though the wards are not fully complete, the beds were [placed] due to the need, and are being used by patients. We would not [be able to] manage in the small rooms with Ebola now mixed with Covid-19. The beds came in time, may God bless you!”

We are so thankful for our donors that make it possible for us to support projects like this.
